Wanting to take your lyra tricks to the next level? Ever gotten into the hoop and realized you were too anxious to do a move because the hoop was spinning? Seen videos of people doing cool Lyra spins online but get nauseous thinking of trying it? In intro to Spin Lyra you will begin to build your spin tolerance, learn how momentum affects tricks, and discover pathways to change your speed without dismounting. By the end of the series, you’ll have the foundations to start adding spins to your trick training and freestyles!

Must be comfortable getting into and holding: knee hang from top of hoop, straddle back, hip hang, mermaid, coffin, man in the moon, delilah

5 Week Series for $95.

Prereqs: Must have attended at least a few months of Pole 1, the pole foundations 1 series and/or All Levels classes to attend. Must be comfortable with Pole 1 spins, sits, multiple climbs, and jasmine.

In Pole Foundations 2 Series, we will build upon skills from Pole 1. Work on grounded and aerial sits, jasmines, upright tricks, and climb variations. Begin combining spins, basework transitions, and floorwork. Explore different ways of descending and ascending into upside down inversions, handstands, and leg hangs. Start transferring some beginner skills to spin pole. Conditioning and warm up tailored to class content. Begin experimenting with structured freestyles and pole games.

Bring: Wear short shorts, tank top or crop top. Bring leggings/sweat pants, knee pads, water bottle. Heels are welcome/optional.

5 Week Series for $95.

Loved intro to spin and want to learn more? Coming back to poling and looking to build strength, consistency, and confidence in your pole practice? Pole Foundations 1 is the perfect place for you! This 5 week series will build upon beginner spins, transitions, sits, climbs and floor work from intro to pole. Start working towards multiple climbs, static tricks and variations, inversions, and static spin combos. 

Prereqs: No experience necessary, though recommended to have attended Intro to Pole prior to Pole 1!

Pre-requisites: several beginner level classes and intro experience required and general comfort dancing in heels. beginner/adv beginner

This is a class that is authentically taught and centers around basics moves and dance styles from club dancing and stripping. Classes are taught in a rotating schedule during the series as follows:

Week One: twerk basics
Weeks two: simple spin pole tricks
Week three: floor work
Week four and five: mini choreos that combine the elements learned in previous weeks.

Heels and knee pads highly recommend.
