IMPROV AND COMPOSITION with Seebie - All Levels

Explore what makes movement evocative and expressive, use spatial metaphor, and palt with theory to facilitate generation of choreographic material. This all-level, all-apparatus workship is geared toward the mover who is interested in movement beyond tricks. Half of the session will focus on guided improvisation to develop movement vocabulary, shape, gesture, and spatial relationships as storytelling. The second half will use prompts to facilitate the development of a short composition.
